Talking of Remakes

Due for release this summer is 'The Taking Of Pelham 123' with John Travolta taking on the role played by Robert Shaw. The original was made in 1974 but I have never seen this film.

    I'm maybe over cynical of remakes - don't expect too much but I may be wrong.

    The Taking of Pelham 123 was one of my favourite films when growing up, can't even begin to remember how many times I've seen it. It's a film that had it's character nicknames "borrowed" by another director who's cast Travolta in one of his films. (Those names Mr. Blue, Mr. Green etc)
